Security/Camera Systems
Camera systems can be a bit of a mine field. If you do however have an existing CCTV system in your Hotel/Building here are 4 important questions you should be asking yourself
1. Is your coverage adequate? check to see if you have any blind spots or areas not covered where incidents could occur.
2. How is the video quality? make sure the cameras have sufficient megapixel resolution to capture clear and detailed footage. As the quality impacts how useful the footage is for identifying people and investigating incidents.
3. How long is footage stored? CCTV data storage can be expensive for large multi-camera setups recording 24/7. But it's crucial to retain enough footage for 30+ days.
4. When was the system last upgraded? Technology evolves quickly. If 5+ years old, capabilities are likely dated, Newer systems have better analytics, mobile access, cloud integration options you may find useful.​
Traditional locks and Keys
Who doesn't love a nice traditional Hotel with lovely doors and a proper key to get into your room! If remote access and bank card style door swipes aren't your thing that's ok.
